"Well, it was winter for sure. And I had decided to take myself and the camera on a walk that I felt I owed myself after a tough week. When I woke that day I didn't expect the conditions I was met with. And I certainly didn't expect it to stay this way all morning; crisp, clear air, bright and cool with the warming sun rising slowly
I've seen these trees many times before. Sometimes they command to be admired from the road as you drive by. But today they looked special. As the light shone through the branches and created all sorts of shadow work on the ground I had to capture the moment. What a moment!"
