"Having broken through the thick, dense fog I headed higher, aiming for Titterstone, the highest peak of the Clee Hills in Shropshire and the site of an abandoned quarry. The view stretches as far as the Malvern Links in the South East and the Long Mynd range in Church Stretton to the North West. Only on this day there was nothing but cloud. A sea of it. Stretching as far as the eye could see

I took it all in as I watched the smooth, white cloud roll up to the hillside and swallow the tree-lines. An elderly gentleman and his little Westie made the summit from the West slopes and stopped for a breather, leaning against one of the rocks cast in dark and heavy sunset shadow to take in the sight. I wasn't sure how to capture the event until that moment. I decided to start small and reach out. The light was changing from golden yellow to orange to purple so it seemed an ideal time to snap away. The peak of Titterstone's sister hill, Brown Clee, poking through the cloud cover provided the perfect backdrop for a special moment in this man's life... and for his dog of course."
