"I'm not sure I'll ever see a scene like this in my lifetime again. At least not here. As I stood on the top of Titterstone Cleehill, part of the Shropshire Hills having driven up and broken through the murky, depths of the inverted cloud cover, I was told by a local that she hadn't seen this type of cloud inversion for over 30 years. I can't offer an explanation to cover what compelled me to drive up the Hills that day but as you can imagine I'm so glad I did.
The sea of cloud rolled up to the landscape as if it were a beach. The moisture refracting light from the setting sun created a dazzling display of shadows and light. Truly blessed to have experienced such a sight."
