"A sunset so strong, and so powerful, that it reflected off my white car bumper when I pulled over to snap it. As I stood just off the roadside and collected image after image I was soon joined by 3 other cars and their occupants who had decided to follow my lead and spend 10 minutes watching this phenomenon. I'm not sure if it was because I have so very rarely seen such a strong sun, or if it was because the shelf of land I was stood on was lit up by the red light in a way that rendered it almost alien, but with the right lens, at the right time I was able to capture such a stunning example of nature. I hate to sound cliched but I really do think I was supposed to be in that spot at exactly the time I was."
